Specification matters. The Thames floodplain, mature trees and clay soils across much of Richmond mean drainage, foundations and root protection have to be done properly. We over-engineer the parts you don't see — sub-bases, drainage runs, root barriers, retaining wall foundations — so the parts you do see stay true for decades.
